Millions of dollars for local infrastructure projects

The Government has allocated $1.36 million to Fairfield City Council which will be spent on a number of projects in Blaxland including:

• A new amenities block at Cabravale Memorial Park
• An upgrade of canteen facilities at Hartleys Oval (Lansvale), Adams Park (Canley Heights) and Carrawood Park (Carramar)

Bankstown City Council has received $771,000 to fund several projects in Blaxland including:

• New central air conditioning at Greenacre Citizens Centre
• Solar panels at Chester Hill Community Centre
• New playground and fitness equipment at Maluga Park (Birrong)
• New kitchen facilities at Lockwood Park (Greenacre) and at Chester Hill Community Long Daycare Centre
